If the FE2 was an option however I'd pick that as it's the best of both worlds: the light weight and fast shutter of the FM2 and the autoexposure of the F3, and with a meter display that handily. I preferred the FM2 for it's blessed simplicity and lower cost vs the F3 or anything AF
